Our guides are often asked about their most memorable hunts of the season and they always struggle to narrow it down to just one or two. This was certainly the case when our Head Guide, Mark was asked for some of his highlights recently.
One hunt that did stand out for him, was the father and son duo George and George Kycera. They hunted Red Stag, Sika and Ram with Mark over 4 days at Poronui. For Mark it wasn’t just the success on the hunting field that stood out,
“The ceremony that accompanied the hunt was moving”, says Mark. “Czech Republic hunters show such respect for the animal and it was humbling to bear witness to that.”
