Poronui Package Hunts

Over the years we have created packages for our more popular hunts to deliver you the best value possible. All package hunts include trophy fees for the animals listed, all accommodation and meals, open bar, guiding as indicated, use of firearms and field preparation of your trophies.

Classic Combination - Red Stag / Sika 

Poronui is the original liberation point and stronghold of the wily sika in New Zealand, and a red stag provides a spectacular trophy. This package includes five nights accommodation at Poronui, five days guided hunting, a sika stag and silver medal red stag (SCI 300-324) plus a bonus Arapawa ram.

Gold Medal Red Stag

When only the best will do! This package includes four nights accommodation at Poronui, four days guided hunting, and a gold medal red stag (SCI 350-374), plus a bonus management sika.

Silver Medal Red Stag

A great way to start, and your stag can be upgraded on request. Includes four nights accommodation at Poronui, four days guided hunting, silver medal red stag (SCI 300-324), plus a bonus Arapawa ram.

Triple Crown Package (Red Stag / Sika / Fallow Buck)

Hunt three of the finest trophies NZ has to offer. Includes five nights accommodation at Poronui, five days guided hunting, sika stag, fallow buck and silver medal red stag (SCI 300-324) plus a bonus Arapawa ram.

Four Species Package (Red Stag / Sika / Fallow Buck / Rusa)

Take four of the North Island’s best trophies on a week-long hunting extravaganza! This package includes seven nights accommodation at Poronui, seven days guided hunting, sika stag, fallow buck, rusa stag and a silver medal red stag (SCI 300-324) plus bonus Arapawa ram.

Multi Hunter Package

Bring your friends! Share the experience of hunting on the world famous privately-owned Poronui property and share the costs as well! This package includes five nights share twin accommodation, four days guided hunting, and a sika stag, silver medal red stag (SCI 300-324) and bonus Arapawa ram each.

Glazebrook Package Hunts 

Late Summer Hunting Safari 

Make the most of fabulous late summer weather and be among the first hunters out after stags in 2011. You can even head for the world famous vineyards of the Marlborough District after your hunt. This five day Late Summer Hunting Safari includes five nights high quality accommodation and guiding (twin share), all meals, house wine and beer, transfers from Blenheim Airport, and a silver medal red stag (SCI 300-324). Limited to hunts completed prior to 15 March 2013.

The Glazebrook Triple 

Experience the best Glazebrook has to offer. In addition to a fine red stag and fallow buck, enjoy the challenge of hunting the top quality chamois herd at Glazebrook. This package includes five days high quality accommodation, five days of guiding (1x1), all meals, house wine and beer, transfers from Blenheim Airport, silver medal red stag (SCI 300-324), fallow buck, and chamois.

Big Stag Special 

Come with another hunter and we will give you both a break. Two hunters (1x1) can enjoy the magnificent experience of hunting at Glazebrook. If you still have energy left after getting your fabulous red stag (SCI 350-374) we’ll take you hunting for free range non trophy fallow buck as well as wild goat and pig. Includes five days accommodation.


Upgrading Your  Package Hunt

All packages (Poronui and Glazebrook) can be upgraded by paying the difference between the stag identified in the package and the larger trophy (refer trophy fees above).   Additional stags not already included in the packages are charged at the normal rate.
