Poronui Hunting offers game estate and free range hunting on two properties: Poronui in the North Island and Glazebrook in the South Island. At Poronui we can provide different levels of accommodation depending on the season, while the new lodge at Glazebrook provides high quality accommodation and stunning views of the southern highlands.

Over the years we have created packages for our more popular hunts to deliver you the best value possible. All package hunts include trophy fees for the animals listed, all accommodation and meals, open bar, guiding as indicated, use of firearms and field preparation of your trophies.

Wilderness Retreat Pricing

If you place a high value on being able to hunt, tramp (hike), explore and fish throughout the back country of New Zealand, we can offer wilderness retreats at both Poronui, in our rustic-luxe safari camp, or at Glazebrook, where you can take over the Lodge with your family and friends. Experience the sun on your backpack, the earthy clean smell of the bush and the complete absence of man-made noise in true New Zealand wilderness. Pricing information can be found here.

Additional Activities Pricing

We also offer a wide rage of activities for the hunter and non-hunter, from horse trekking to guided wilderness walks, world class fly fishing, mountain biking, sporting clays, field archery, a unique Maoritanga experience and also massage, beauty treatments, shopping and sightseeing trips. From hunting and fishing to photography or picnicking by the river, with horseback riding and hiking somewhere in between, there is one thing all these activities all have in common - the quality of the outdoor experience.
